Therapists
SOPHIE MUSTAPHA
Sophie has always had an interest in physical therapies, having been introduced to osteopathy and chiropractic as a child, and Alexander Technique as a teenager. She initially trained in massage and worked as a massage therapist for seven years. Shen then decided to train in osteopathy to deepen her understanding of health and illness and to increase the skills available to her in order to treat a much wider range of clients and conditions. Sophie graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2005, and has since worked in Bristol, Frome and Bath.
Practicing osteopathy requires lifelong learning. Since graduating Sophie has trained in cranial osteopathy and other osteopathic approaches and continues to develop her skills in biodynamic cranial osteopathy. She uses a variety of gentle techniques in treatment and takes a holistic approach tailored to the health and needs of the individual patient. Her aim as an osteopathic practitioner remains the same as when she first started out – to provide excellent osteopathic health care to all ages, from the new born to the elderly.
