What’s happening to your body when you get an IV drip of vitamins?

THE TREATMENT

During the appointment the therapist will take The Plasma Gel which boasts the same colour and consistency as natural fat, but becomes much softer when it is injected. Plasma Fibroblast is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment designed to shrink, tighten and reduce the volume of excess skin by targeting fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are collagen and protein-producing cells in the dermis – the layer of skin just below your outermost skin layer.

Plasma Fibroblast Therapy uses a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas of the skin. The process breaks down proteins in the skin, encourages tissue regeneration, stimulates fibroblast activity and causes tissue contraction (tightening).

Plasma is a state of matter, an ionized gas consisting of positive ions and free electrons in proportions resulting in more or less no overall electric charge.  Plasma Perfect Lift is performed through the creation of minute spots in the treatment area, by utilizing the voltage in the air between the tip of the device and your skin, this stimulates an instant contraction and tightening of the skin fibres. It sublimates the superficial corneocytes without effecting the basal laminae, without bleeding and without damage to the surrounding tissue; thus often being referred to as ‘soft surgery.’

How Long Does Plasma Fibroblast Last?

• The healing process normally takes 5-10 days, and skin will be noticeably tighter immediately.
• The longer lasting results from the generation of new collagen begin to appear within 2-4 weeks, continue to improve for about three months, and can last up to three years.
• At least 2 treatments are usually needed, and additional treatments can be done 12 weeks after the initial treatment, or when the skin has fully recovered.

What happens during treatment:​

​Your skin will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area.

After you are numb your therapist will cleanse your skin again and prepare you to receive the Plasma fibroblast therapy. The plasma is delivered using a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas of the skin.

The plasma tip doesn’t directly touch the skin, but instead releases a targeted current just above the skin. The hot current creates small holes, or micro-injuries, in the skin’s layer.

​The thermal disruption, or heat damage, from plasma fibroblast therapy:

You will not feel any sharp pain during treatment, but depending on the area you may feel some tingling or small twitches in the area.

​Results

Although you will have tightness immediately following treatment, you can then expect swelling to come in and distort this appearance, swelling can be severe in certain areas – such as around the eyes.

​Results will continue to develop for up to 4 months due to the fact a thermo-damage healing response is triggered during the treatment.

​Studies have proven results to last over a year, and up to six years, however no long-term studies have been done to determine the true longevity – our clients seem to gain many multiples of years before they feel the need to retreat the same area.

​As the Fibroblast creates a thermo-healing response within your skin. This causes the body to repair the area, create new collagen and elastin. The new collagen, unlike chemical filler, does not have a ‘shelf life’ instead it will last years and years before eventually losing its strength due to age. The Fibroblast will therefore not prevent new lines or skin laxity forming but it will produce years off your current skin age with long term results.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) also known as ACP Autologous Conditional Plasma is a procedure of injecting a concentration of your own blood plasma.
