Kate graduated from the British College of Osteopathic medicine and is registered with the general Osteopathic Council (GOsC), as well as a member of the British Osteopathic Association.
She uses a variety of Osteopathic techniques including strong soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and manipulation as well as incorporating the more gentle functional cranial technique. This enables her to tailor treatments according to the patients individual needs. She also believes it is important to advise patients on lifestyle and rehabilitation exercises to help speed their recovery.
Kate says "I come from a gymnastic background and therefore have an interest in sporting injuries. Having suffered from a young age with headaches, I saw an osteopath and that was where my love grew - it was therefore the natural route for me to become an osteopath.
Kate is a firm believer that practitioner and patient work together in order to create the best holistic results. Testimonials from her clients include :
- "I had been in extreme pain for sometime with my upper back and neck, I guess like most people you assume it will eventually just disappear. It wasn't until I was recommended to visit an Osteopath that I realised the seriousness of what I was going through. Just meeting Kate put me at such ease, a thorough consultation and explanation of what strain my back was under was my biggest wake up call. I am now half way through my treatments and the results are just amazing. I feel like I literally have had a weight lifted off me!" (Hayley - Somerset)

"With six weeks to go until the marathon I found myself with an ankle injury that wouldn’t go away with self treatment. I went to see Kate, who quickly identified the source of my injury and with her treatment and advice I was able to gradually get back to the training schedule and achieve my main aim of completing the marathon. I have never visited an osteopath before however Kate immediately put me at ease and explained to me how she would treat my injury. I was very impressed with the therapy and would highly recommend her to anyone. I would definitely go back with any other aches and pains in the future” (Helen - Somerset)
